Is one finish better than the other?
Not better—just different. Polished is glossy, honed is matte, leathered, rockface, and flamed are textured. It’s about style and use. They generally similarly hard-wearing, except for some specific examples. Talk to a member of our staff for more details
When do you get new stock?
We import regularly—new shipments arrive every few weeks.
How big are the slabs?
Most are around 3 m × 2 m, but sizes vary by block. The largest slabs can get up to 3.6m in width but this is rare.
Do you have offcuts / smaller pieces?
Stonemasons are the best people to talk to about offcuts. As they do cutting onsite, they usually have plenty of offcuts.

No, we are walk-in only!
How long does it take to install benchtops after I choose my slab?
Installation is handled by your stonemason, so they will be the best people to speak to about this.
Can stone be used as wall or shower panels?
Yes, natural stone works beautifully as wall and shower panels.
Do you sell by the square metre?
No, we sell by the slab. Prices are quoted per square metre though.
How durable is marble?
Durable but softer than granite or quartzite—expect natural wear
How much does an average slab weigh?
Around 250–350 kg, depending on thickness and size.
How long will delivery take?
0–3 business days in Melbourne metro.
Other ways to protect countertops?
Use chopping boards, trivets, and clean spills quickly.
What’s the difference between etching and staining?
Etching is when an acid eats away at a calcium based stone on contact ,creating a surface dulling and rougher texture where the impact happened; staining is colour absorbed into the stone.
What finish options are available?
Polished, honed, leathered, rockface, and flamed are all the available stone textures.
What are bookmatched slabs?
Two slabs cut and polished to mirror each other like an open book.
